ABORTED
ABORTED
Engineering The Dead
(Listenable Records)
36:51min

Although this is already the second album of ABORTED from Belgium it is my first experience with them. And what can I say, the guys are highly talented musicians and come up with very brutal Death Metal the American way. Their songs are in the vein of (older) SUFFOCATION and co., quite technical and varied; and at the same time crushing with both, high speed blasts and destructive mid-tempo parts. The production is also crushing and brutal. So if you like gory American Death Metal I see no reason why you should hesitate to support ABORTED. You surely won't be disappointed. Or to say it in the words of the label info: "Beware as the hackers will cook one of the most devastating, putrid, perverted & sick hymns of Death fucking Metal mankind can bear..."
