AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR
AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR
War Of Extermination
(self-financed)
13:22min

This demo, the third from this aggressive Swedish band, has beaten me with some good old dusty and nostalgic Black Metal with a heavy dose of thrashing madness mixed into it. I thought this kind of arcane Metal shenanigans was long gone, though luckily not. It's been a while since I've came across new music this simple in its expression, but damn it works. Effective and catchy guitar riffs and a driving beat that makes you headbang. Track number four is a version of BATHORY's 'Sacrifice' and that track sums up the material on this demo quite well, a hellish attack inspired of early BATHORY, VENOM, SODOM, HELLHAMMER, quite like early AURA NOIR with the same raw Punk feel to their music. Some say inspired by, others an homage. If anything in the above writing do speak to you, this demo will make you bang and party for a good while, a damned energetic and intense delivery of the style, straight on and right into an old man's heart as mine. This is bringing back many good old memories from a time long lost. Nothing like music that gets right to you and takes you back in time. Enter the realm of the one who smite: http://aggressivemutilator.bandcamp.com
