AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR
AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR
They Want To Cut Off My Head
(self-financed)
15:33min

More black-thrashing madness from the Swedish squadron of AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR. Mikael Holm has been very active since the inception of this project, and it is nice to hear how the music's quality is taking part and progresses from release to release, even though there can't have been a long pause, between the writing and recording sessions. The base is still in a 'I don't give a fuck' punkish attitude dressed in a thrashy Black Metal burial gown, smeared in remains of DARKTHRONE, BATHORY and CELTIC FROST with a good and healthy dash if AURA NOIR. Though we are nice and quietly getting near the band's very own expression and sound. During 2012 Holm was joined by drummer Michael Zetterberg, who has added some energy and drive with his straight forward and ripping drumming. He's been blasting the skin in quite some Swedish underground bands, and know his way around hellish and thrashing Black (and Death) Metal, and has helped this project forward, together with the intensity of Holm. After a good deal of releases AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR is really starting to shape up, as a lasting menace on the scene, and a band that soon will be able to deliver a striking and good debut full length, as the quality of the material keeps on rising, just the step from the last release "War Of Extermination" to this is quite big leap forward. Much more carnage at: www.aggressivemutilator.bandcamp.com
