AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR
AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR
Poison Minds
(Wydawnictwo Muzyczne Psycho)
33:16min

Swedish Black Metal with a bit of Thrash and even 80s Punk mixed to it is always a delightful taste. This duo surely remembers and pays tribute to early BATHORY and VENOM, but also these guys can’t deny their heritage of early Swedish Hardcore / Punk acts such as ANTI CIMEX and MOB 47. This EP (compilation) includes 5 new songs, the 2014 “Curse Of The Outlaw” demo and the 2013 "They Want To Cut Off My Head" demo from this old hearted band AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR. While their demos are not old at all, the sound coming out of your speakers (headphones) is surely rotten to the core 80s - 90s street morbid music, no fashion, no trends, just raw and aggressive as hell; however the Punk attitude shines a tad more on these 2 demos. Now…, the 5 new songs taking the first part of this “Poison Minds” compilation sound a bit different than the other 2 demos included, the songs have a bit more bite and treble cutting right into the mix with the raspy vocals making them a bit more pure Black Metal sounding era 90s, however the drums still retain that Punk attitude while playing the rhythm parts. So bottom line, if you are into new / old bands such as NIFELHEIM, PEST, etc…, you will sure enjoy this ride. This is a great release coming out from a great band that will sure have a bright future and will probably jump out of the underground if the cards are played the right way and keep playing this black spells with that “I don’t give a fuck !!!” attitude. While you drink a beer go check the band’s website and also pay a visit to the record label to buy this record and spin it at high volumes: http://aggressivemutilator.bandcamp.com, www.wydawnictwopsycho.com
