AHOORA
AHOORA
All In Blood With You
(self-financed)
40:41min

We sometimes forget what for a "free" life we are all living without any restrictions from police or government and I think that luckily only a few out there can imagine a life as a Metalhead without the right to make or listen to their music or to wear their favourite Metal shirt when taking a walk on a Sunday afternoon. AHOORA from Iran is deeply inspired by US Heavy Metal of the 90s and especially ICED EARTH (partly) and NEVERMORE (largely) left their mark and influences on this 7 song release. The album starts with 'Heart Of Darkness' a midtempo song which easily could be found on the latest highly acclaimed NEVERMORE album release and especially the vocals are fitting more than ideal into this song. The second song with a keyboard intro and a small accoustic part with some minor arabesque influence (a piece bringing some connections to one of my favourite non traditional Metal bands ORPHANED LAND) are clearly showing the origin of this band. "All In Blood With You" is overall a very interesting release and bands like AHOORA are a proof that "Metal will never die" are not only 4 words but a message to all non-believers. www.ahoora-band.com
