ANDRAS have returned with their 4th full-length album this year. 13 songs of the darker kind of Metal they offer us on "... Of Old Wisdom". ANDRAS are still into creating easy-listening music like they have been doing since the start of their career, although the whole thing gives a more matured and "grown up" impression in the meanwhile. The music on this album goes, like I have already said, easily into the ears by light and at times nearly happy guitar- and keyboard-lines. The vocals vary between a clear, hymnic voice and an extremer, shouted one. The song-structures serve the melodic style quite well, because it is also kept simple. So all in all everything is very easy going on that album which makes this one a solid one but nothing outstanding or special. www.pervertedtaste.de
