AXIS POWERS
Marching Towards Destruction
(Pulverised Records)
34:53min

"Marching Towards Destruction" is the 2nd output from this Swedish Death Metal outfit, and a killer one! I don't know what the guys want to say with the intro 'Marching Towards Destruction (From San Francisco To Stockholm)', especially with the words in brackets - AXIS POWERS need no further words to explain the meaning of this new CD: it's Death Metal to the bone! The Swedish origin is not deniable and that's as good as it can be. The old masters are clearly recognizable in their sound, a certain Crust-dose is there, too, and at the end you get 8 killer tracks (plus the aforementioned intro) of Swedish Death Metal in a highly professional sound and packing. In my opinion there is no additional explanation necessary as this is one killer record with everything which you can expect from a Swedish Death Metal outfit. Among others you should find it here www.pulverised.net.
