BLACK POCKET LICE
BLACK POCKET LICE
Paradise In Blood
(Wydawnictwo Muzyczne Psycho)
13:54min

Pure grinding Death emerging from Poland in cassete format and courtesy of Wydawnictwo Muzyczne Psycho Records from Poland too. Ok... I'll try to extract as much as possible as there are only 3 songs on this demo... and being released through a label, this could be considered as an EP tape... ok... but now let's go to the music... as we said in the introduction, this is a pretty grinding brutal band with some elements of Death Metal... their sound is totally natural... I mean there are no triggers or compressors used... that helps giving you the feeling that you're not listening to one of the many faceless bands that just try to sound as much as possible as the boring AMON AMARTH or the shitty OPETH... I perceived very intricate and talented guitar solos, fast and flawlesly excecuted that along with the brilliant drums performance, take this demo one step above of many other bands... the voices are really killer, varying from a kind of Metal-corish approach to a more brutal lower Death Metal form... really good and appropiate to what these guys do from the musical department. I feel some little bits of Metalcore or Melodeath, however I still can tolerate that and can only wish these guys don't take that direction on future releases, because their style is simply awesome... I heard they changed name... but I am not quite sure if that implies a change into a more profitable mainstream style... I highly recommend this piece of a fucking brutal demo. www.wydawnictwopsycho.com
