COMATOSE
The Ultimate Revenge
(Satanath Records)
31:34min

Another band that was totally unknown to me. COMATOSE from the Philippines already exists since 2003 and “The Ultimate Revenge” is their debut album. Don’t really know what to tell you about this release after listening to it again and again. This is just a rather inconsequential album and the thunderstorm intro is the most exciting part of it. Sure, it’s not the shittiest album I’ve ever heard but it isn’t a very good album either. It’s just a mediocre piece of Death Metal with some nice lead guitars, a mediocre vocalist and a mediocre production (muffled and not very powerful). No more, no less… www.facebook.com/666comatose, www.satanath.com
