Are You Excrements?
(Morbid Records)
40:36min

What a cool album! I liked this one right from the start and it's growing! CSSO (Clotted Symmetrical Sexual Organ) are from Japan and their sound is called Grind Rock. "Are You Excrements?" is their second full length album and they're focussing on a sort of 70's Rock with extreme vocals and spacy keyboards. But when you're caught in a cool part of a song, you're crushed by pure mayhem all of a sudden! CSSO are excellent musicians and unusual songwriters and "Are You Excrements?" is definitely worth checking out, especially the 10 minutes song 'Living Dead A Go Go' represents CSSO's madness. But if you really can't stand (strange) Rock sounds: hands off in case you can't listen to the album in advance! No idea what their lyrics are about but there aren't that much vocals anyway.... I'm definitely looking forward to their tour.
