DARKNESS OF HELL
DARKNESS OF HELL
Under The Flag Of Hate
(American Line Productions)
28:36min

An outbreak of pounding Black Metal darkness from these Czech Hell troops. There is a good mix of tempos and rocking parts in these six original songs to induce next day neck pain in the Thrash susceptible listener. Black Metal freaks especially who crave to hear a new group that harkens the ghost of the old style Czech pounding Black Metal would certainly be interested in this. It is beyond question that serious veneration of bands like ROOT and old MAYHEM is going on here - and it’s fitting that the band chose to incorporate covers of these two acts into the album. The net effect boosts the band’s currency in exactly the right way, as they do these covers just right. These guys seem to have an excellent grasp on what kind of sound and vibe they want to achieve and this recording is a firmly footed step backward (in the best sense) on their common quest for total worship. http://bandzone.cz/darknessofhell, www.alprods.net

DARKNESS OF HELL
DARKNESS OF HELL

As all of you might know: all nutrition experts recommend you to eat a lot of Obst (German for fruits). So just in case your aren't fond of these vitamine bombs I have now an alternative for you: why not have a listen to Lord Obst's infernal horde called DARKNESS OF HELL? So you would be able to solve this problem even with Metal :-)) Now let's go back more serious. This blasphemic Czech outfit plays well crafted old school Black / Thrash Metal with some hints of their mighty native ancestors ROOT or MASTERS HAMMER. Like those legends this four pieces uses their native tongue as well for the lyrics and it sounds fantastic like you can imagine. Really dark and evil. Heretic's vocal delivery reminds me a lot of MASTERS HAMMER as it comes quite close to the voice of Franta Storm. The album consists of eight evil tracks. Six of them are own compositions while two are cover versions. 'Song For Satan' was originally perfomed by ROOT and the furious 'Deathcrush' is the band's tribute to the glorious days of Norway's pioneers MAYHEM. So if you you enjoy your Black thrashing stuff fast forward, straight to the point and without unnecessary gimmicks then you should check them out. You won't regret it for sure as also the sound quality, which is raw but well produced, will please your ears. For more info write to the band itself (territorium@seznam.cz) or get in touch with the label at www.alprods.net.
