DEAD CONGREGATION
DEAD CONGREGATION
Sombre Doom
(Matyrdoom Productions)
13:38min

It's not that usual that just the announcement of a release brings a smile on my face and let me wanna jump around. But in this case exactly that was the result when I found out that DEAD CONGREGATION will release new stuff. The Greek masters of unholy and brutal Death Metal darkness put out a new EP and they delivered the awesomeness I (and I guess most of our readers) expected! This EP is called “Sombre Doom” and contains two new outstanding songs and both are of the same over the top quality like the band's opus magnus so far, "Promulgation Of The Fall" from 2014. The only negative aspect here is the fact that there are only two songs on “Sombre Doom”, but that’s why it’s called an EP I guess. Anyway, both songs are so fucking good. The opening track 'Redemptive Immolation' is a massive nine minutes lasting atmospheric epos of doom, death and darkness. The second track 'Wind's Bane' is a fast, brutal, crushing and massive piece of Death Metal. DEAD CONGREGATION is one of those bands which you instantly recognize after listening for a few seconds even if you don't know the song. And that is rarely seen within the Death Metal scene nowadays. “Sombre Doom” is definitely a must have, no doubt about it! Stop reading and buy “Sombre Doom” as fast as possible! By the way, the vinyl version will be released by Norma Evangelium Diaboli. All further information you will find at: www.facebook.com/deadcongregation, www.martyrdoomproductions.com
