DEATH HAMMER
DEATH HAMMER
Barbaric Onslaught
(self-financed)
7:25min

Old school Death / Thrash in its purest form serves DEATH HAMMER from Norway with this demo tape as they write on their homepage. 3 songs are on this tape but this is absolutely not my cup of tea. The material has no structure, the band is just blasting through the songs with one or two riffs and repeating the parts. The third song is a slow instrumental maybe it should be a doom touch but it's a total waste. The voice has a lot of reverb to it, but overall it's good screaming and growling. The sound is the typically demo sound, but couldn’t be better. The voice is too much upfront and the drums are hard to hear, only when there's a break, but it's every time the same. So, I’m sorry, but you don’t need this one. www.home.no/deathhammer/index.htm
