DECAPITATED
DECAPITATED
Organic Hallucinosis
(Earache Records)
32:27min

After the bitter-sweet taste that "The Negation" left on many of us, DECAPITATED has crawled back from the woodwork to inject once more a lethal dose of their poison in our nervous system. This time around the Death Metal machine has been sharpened, oiled and seems meaner than before but there's also a surprise in store! A new "gear" has been added in the form of a new frontman and I guess many of you might be asking if the guy delivers the goods. All I have to say this guy is really pissed off and then some! He certainly let all his hateful roar flow freely through the music to a level of feeling yourself threatened by what you are listening to, just like the good ol' Death Metal used to be. Musically DECAPITATED does not let us down this time around, they have the crunch, the groove, the unrelenting aggression that I've felt kind of diminished in their last album. The production on "Organic Hallucinosis" exalts the technical mastery of the band as a whole; a far more punchier, hard hitting and absolutely heavy slab is what you will get in return for your investment. Complains? Well, the only one I have is the short running time. It is like a dagger through my black heart seeing this CD coming out of the player just after 30+ min but as an old saying say "good things are not meant to last". Crank this shit up to a level of insanity for total listening pleasure and visit their website at: www.decapitated.pl or the label at: www.earache.com.
