Bleeding The Fist!
(Nihilistic Holocaust)
49:49min

"Bleeding The Fist" is another underground assault by Nihilistic Holocaust Records. This time they offer us a 3-way-split CD-R. The first three tracks are provided by French old school Deathers DEEP VEIN. It is solid stuff what they offer us here but nothing special. You have the basic ingredients here, they just add to their deep vocals some screamy outbreaks and the guitars aren't so low tuned (a bit thrashier in the mix). It's ok for an underground demo and a good start but for sure they still have to work on their style (and of course they will do it). The second band on this compilation is BLOODY SIGN. This one is for sure the most mature act here and their two tracks can totally convince me. This is how old school Death Metal should sound! Excellent riffs, tight playing, fast forward and straight to the point. Too bad there are just these two songs here. Check out the other reviews of their releases in our review section as well. OPPRESSION from Sweden finishes this 3-way split CD (with 5 tracks). These northmen have written Thrash Metal on their banner and following the path of their ancestors of the late 80s. The band cites the good old Bay Area style as well as the old German gods of Thrash. The pace is mostly high and the production is good and fits perfectly to this style. It's always nice to hear such bands nowadays and I don't give a fuck if someone calls it retro or not and original or not. Cool! All in all you get here almost 50 minutes of cool underground music and interested bangers should get in touch with NH at http://nihilistic.voila.net.
