DEVASTRACKTOR
DEVASTRACKTOR
Beer Force One
(self-financed)
21:08min

Get on your seats now because Beer Force One is about to take off soon. The Finnish Thrashers DEVASTRACKTOR will be both pilots and co-pilots during this journey towards to... well, a place where there's lotsa beer on offer for everyone, and just for free (whose backstage do they share with?). Oh well, let's dream on. DEVASTRACKTOR's almost recently released this 4-track mini CD on their own, titled "Beer Force One", which is a follow-up release for the band's debut album "Warhorsepowers And A Megaton Of Balls" that was released in 2011. DEVASTRACKTOR operate in the field of old school Thrash Metal that has both European as well as American Thrash spices mixed into it. They don't actually operate on the most furious and aggressive side of Thrash but one cannot call them much of THAT tamed or overly melodic group either. The obvious SLAYER and TANKARD influences push through their material but it's all good for them. They have got a nice and humorous aspect to their lyrics as well, which is a definite plus for them ("only posers fall to the level of wine, in malt we trust now and forever!"), supporting the band's uncompromising vision of having fun while thrashing their hearts out from the chests at the very same time. This is good and honest Thrash to the bone, coming without surprises but that fact still doesn't dismiss the band's value to keep their flags high for the old school Thrash Metal. I for one enjoyed pretty much the heck out of this, and I am certain there are many more of you who'll approve DEVASTRACKTOR's whole potential to cause some serious messy hair damages and sore neck muscles.
