DISORDER
DISORDER
En El Río Del Olvido
(Morbid Skull Records)
46:46min

A really interesting project came across our way in form of DISORDER from El Salvador. The two guys behind this project called Morbid and Hellbastard present a fresh bastard of Death / Thrash Metal unleashed via Morbid Skull Records. The presented ten tracks sound fresh and unused and show the love of these guys for this fine subgenre. Influences seem to be classic bands like KREATOR and DESTRUCTION of course but also Death / Thrash bands like THE CROWN, DEFLESHED, DIMENSION ZERO or even the mighty MERCILESS, as their guitar sound sounds very Scandinavian styled. The songs are mostly uptempo, with fast drumming, very fine melodic leads and some slight Hardcore influences here and there in the guitar sound and vocals. The vocals are a mixture of classic Thrash and Death Metal vocal art, similar to the first EP of THE EVERDAWN. All ten songs are presented in the Spanish language, what sounds somehow cool and very dark. Difficult to mention a single track, as all songs are above average and no fillers have found place on the album, but track nine 'Pertrechos De Guerra' heavily reminds me of MERCILESS and my love for this band since I discovered them in the 90s. A really cool track with a fine lead melody and killer vocals. The production is clear and very professional and all instruments sound strong and forceful. This second album is a new start for this band, since it was reborn by Morbid in 2011 and is a real surprise, as the quality of the material easily can stand against a lot of wellknown bands around. If you are interested in this Spanish force, you can listen to the full album here. Or check the band out via www.facebook.com/disorderelsalvador or contact the band directly via: morbidskullsv@gmail.com
