DISTRESS OF RUIN
DISTRESS OF RUIN
Insights
(self-financed)
26:41min

The Finnish DISTRESS OF RUIN are around for quite a while now. “Insights” is their second EP after “Predators Among Us” in 2013, both of them were released without a record company to back up the band. And I can really understand that there is no company that would release a record of DISTRESS OF RUIN. Too many bands nowadays are around, and too much of them are quite good or at least original. So there is no point in releasing a mediocre record like “Insights”. This kind of pseudo modern melodic Death Metal is artificial, uninspired and unimportant, even more unimportant than the latest releases of IN FLAMES. And if a bridge of a song reminds me of those boring alternative Rock bands that are played on the radio, the issue is over as far as I am concerned. If you need some ordinary music that is designed to be hard, check out “Insights”. If you don't need it, check out some good music. Further info at: www.facebook.com/distressofruin
