Well, if you are really looking for something to make you feel miserable, weary and desperately in the need to shot yorself in the head to untie the bonds that keep you chained to this godforsaken world, then this CD would be the perfect background music for your last goodbye! All the qualities DODSFERD is known for are the ones that rule on this release as well. Wrath in my opinion is a quite smart personality in the sense of sticking to his ideals on how venomous, harsh and dissonant Black Metal should sound like and "progress" without deviating too much from his proven-successful formula. On the other hand, MORTOVATIS is a completely different entity that I would not relate in any way to what Wrath does with his main band. This seems to be like a taster for more releases to emerge in the future. What the heck this new entity plays? Uuummm... if droning, monotonous and hypnotizing frequencies are what gives you as stiff then you are going to dig MORTOVATIS.
