EMBODIED GRIEF
Death Metal
(self-financed)

Hellcome the Death Metal underground's underground! Yes, there are still bands producing tapes these days. No idea how old or new this tape is, but we received it only recently. Limited to 500 copies, the tape is still available for 3,- Euro. I don't know whether this includes the postage, just ask the band. What you get on here is underground old school Death Metal with an acceptable but not really enjoyable production (for a demo tape). The songs are rather short and far from being original, but good fun. They suffer from a lack of structure and brutality (the latter due to the production, I presume?), but on the forthcoming split EP with Hamburg's SUFFERAGE scheduled for early 2003, this is supposed to be changed for the better. Another split EP is being planned with a local Punk band. EMBODIED GRIEF's contribution on that will be some Crust material. Until then: check out the tape as long as you consider yourself to be true Death Metal underground. But I guess I won't be listening to it again: there are better (but also much weaker) bands available on CD and handling a CD is just so much more comfortable. borisbreuer@web.de, iconc@gmx.de
