EVOCATION

EVOCATION
Apocalyptic
(Cyclone Empire)
39:30min

With the unbelievable amount of over 75.000 active Metal bands worldwide less than one percent are making the difference - and EVOCATION are definitely part of this elite family! Two years have passed since the release of "Dead Calm Chaos" and after nearly 20 years of existence the Swedish band is still hungry enough to record such a "hateful" release like "Apocalyptic". The album starts furious with 'Sweet Obsession' and throughout the ten tracks EVOCATION are not slowing down to give the listener any moment of rest. Nobody will expect anything else than high quality Swedish steel and even with an increased aggression level the band never looses their main focus - just listen to 'Murder In Passion' or the killer title track and everybody will understand my point .There is really no point of critism, "Apocalyptic"is offering 100 % Swedish Death Metal supported by a great sound, great artwork and especially the high aggression level is giving EVOCATION an additional dark face. I'm nearly sure that this album will find his place in a lot of best of list for the decaying year - including my personal one!
