EXTREME NOISE TERROR
EXTREME NOISE TERROR
Being And Nothing
(Candlelight Records)
30:00min

Does it really make sense to promote an album of a Grindcore legend by mentioning the guest appearance of some CRADLE OF FILTH lead guitarist?! I doubt it! Nobody seriously into Grindcore will give a shit about CRADLE and vice versa. I mean, c'mon - EXTREME NOISE TERROR have already been around for more than a decade by now; back then the CRADLE dudes were probably still shitting their pants. Anyway, musically this UK five piece still delivers a highly intense grinding assault which to me even sounds more convincing than what the fellows in NAPALM DEATH are doing nowadays (not that I dislike their stuff, but...). This is totally uncompromising and brutal, yet very fresh sounding and well executed stuff. Ten highly entertaining songs, straight ahead, right into your face, with a solid production and a playing time of exactly thirty minutes will certainly manage to satisfy the needs of every Grindcore maniac all over the globe once again. So, if you're a lover of the extreme, make sure to pick this up. Definitely a great one!
