HATE THEM ALL
HATE THEM ALL
Last Feast With The Beast
(Old Temple)
33:29min

This is the debut album from this old school Black Metal band from Poland. VENOM, BATHORY and MOTÖRHEAD are the names of the game. There is an obvious Rock'n'Roll and a lot of Punk sounds in here. The recording is good, if maybe the guitar could be louder, because it takes away some power that this quite simple yet in your face compositions are made of. What the band is able to capture, both lyrically and in the overall aura, is hatred! The pissed off attitude is present in every note, something that goes along the fact that the band members remain unknown to avoid them the hate itself. The overall aura is also that of a mid-paced band, although there are some bursts of speed here and there. More than once there are things that recall to that Black Metal style that once DARKTHRONE was doing in a very CELTIC FROSTish way (and that might be also a reference to the band's name). At times I also feel that the angry vocals could use a bit more of variety, as it mostly sounds in one tone. Yet, their simplistic approach is quite entertaining and the references to the old school bands will surely make you more than once notice this hate-fueled band. The song 'Death To All' has that catchy main riff that will not go away that easy. Yeah, whilst nothing outstanding this has its moments. And then in this “season” we are all, we cannot agree but to let the beast out to feast. The Moyen-esque cover art completes the blasphemy in a good way. www.hate.webd.pl, www.facebook.com/hatethemall666, www.oldtemple.com
