To put it more succinctly, the 8th full length by these Norwegian Viking Metal grampas is a stately and atmospheric listen. Following a calm, traditional intro full of acoustics, jaw harp, and clean singing; "Raunijar" proceeds in an unhurried fashion over 4 lengthy contemplative tracks. If slower ENSLAVED and BATHORY's "Twilight Of The Gods" had a baby, you might come near this album. Another fine offering from one of the strongest and most genuine acts in this style.
