HELLSAW
HELLSAW
Spiritual Twilight
(Black Attakk)
63:12min

When I heard HELLSAW'S first demo "Sins Of Might" first back in 2003, I thought that this band sucks. Too meaningless was the whole music on it. Luckily the band managed to develop and has now put out some fresh recordings under the name of "Spiritual Twilight" (including "Sins Of Might" as bonus) which are far ahead of the demo. Of course we are talking about Black Metal here and HELLSAW use the wide variety of speed, although mostly in a driving manner, within this genre to lay their guitar melodies and riffs on. The focus is on the melodic guitar lines which sometimes turned out a bit too "happy", but at least you can hear that these dudes like to play and therefore it sounds somehow fresh. So skipping the demo, I consider this CD as a solid output on which HELLSAW can build further material. Have at least a listen! www.black-attakk.de
