This band from Italy revealed itself a so much a good surprise that I can't help but to find this three tracks offer a little unsatisfying in terms of duration. In fact I would gleefully scream for more, because "Anger Words" appears more than simply convincing! On this HELLWRATH rekindle with the tradition of evilized tech Death / Thrash pioneered by INFERNAL MAJESTY, and offers a lot of complex arrangements coupled with a faultless vocal delivery reminding me on the one of the great David Vincent (while the music could be seen as a slightly less intense version of what you can find on INFERNAL MAJESTY's "Unholier Than Thou"). The overall sound comes out in a rather satisfactory way, even if the quality of the music needs even more power and dynamic, but I suppose this imperfection will be cared about on the first proper full length, a record I hope that will surface in a not so distant future. HELLWRATH are surely an outfit to watch closely as these guys are excellent and well-inspired musicians. Note that the band exists for a relatively long time now, they were known as DREDFUL OMEN back in their gathering in 1999; that can explain the maturity showed here.
