HUNTERS MOON
HUNTERS MOON
The Serpents Lust
(Hells Headbangers Records)
21:01min

Another admirable release from Hell's Headbangers. Indeed not for the faint of heart. HUNTERS MOON take Black Metal to a place I haven't seen in years. It's a place BATHORY used to visit quite often. Describing this particular part of Black Metal is hard to do, but suffice it to say, feelings of the epic are evoked by relatively simple songwriting. The result is a soundscape that sounds distant, but broad in scope. This EP received an unfavorable review, but surely whoever wrote such disparaging words had little to no idea what HUNTER'S MOON is about. I see little reason to say anything further about this marvelous band. Like their EP, this review is short, but communicates (hopefully) much. www.myspace.com/thehuntersmoon, www.hellsheadbangers.com
