MASTER OF GENOCIDE
MASTER OF GENOCIDE
Total Birth Control
(self-financed)

This is one aggressive fucker of a demo, pure intensity from the beginning to the end, delivered in a mix of blasting Grindcore and more balanced Death Metal, with a good bunch of noisy rawness into it. This one man band hails from Ecuador, and takes us back to a time when Death Metal and Grindcore, were all about noise and straight forwardness with an aggressive as hell attitude, not taking prisoners. I can't remember having heard sheer brutality as this since the good old days with demo compilations tapes from obscure places, back in the days. As you might can read out of the above, this isn't about nuances and balanced breaks, this is about wrath and hatred, and damn we get a good dose of wrath and hatred. Though still there have been time to think about the arrangements, just as in track three I think, where we get the wall to wall guitar attack, the drumming frenzy and sick vocals, which all slows down and in comes a sick and twisted guitar lead, no one had seen coming, brilliant. If you miss your frantic blasting piece of Grindcore infused Death Metal from a time long forgotten, then MASTER OF GENOCIDE will put you right into that mid-nineties feel, of Metal not being there for anything else, than itself, pure intensity and anger, not the most well written or delivered piece of music, but damn the attitude and intensity is refreshing!
