METAL CHURCH
METAL CHURCH
Live
(High Roller Records)
46:04min

What should I say about this record? Every Metalhead should know METAL CHURCH, at least the name. With this record High Roller Records serves us a live recording from 1986, recorded just after the band released the two classic records "Metal Church" and "The Dark". So the setlist contains all the classic songs from these two releases and a cover of DEEP PURPLE's 'Highway Star' (also on the German edition of the vinyl version of "Metal Church" - Frank) played by the original cult line up. The sound of the recording is pretty good for that time and a lot better than on the trashy live tapes from the 80s. So this is a great document of one of the greatest Power Metal Bands from the US of A. There is nothing more to say. The LP from High Roller Records is, as usual, a high class release. The record comes along with a heavy gatefold cover which is limited to 500 copies. So if you want classic US Power Metal with live power get this one. Nuff said! More info at www.hho-records.de
