MORTAL INTENTION
MORTAL INTENTION
Abglanz
(Black Blood Records)
46:20min

A cover is the first impression for a listener to the world of every individual artist and band and sometimes it could be misleading like sunshine on a cold winter morning. This is the case with the fourth release of MORTAL INTENTION which (just taken the cover artwork) would lead to a true Black Metal Band inspired by Swedish ultra fast die hard speed maniacs - but luckily the wind is musical wise blowing from a complete different direction. The German band is on the run since 1996 and knowing not a single demo you can still hear on their new album "Abglanz" that a guitar solo is nothing uncommon to them. The music is nearly incomparable with any single band, it's more or less a wild run through 15 years of German Black Metal underground with side steps to early band like EMINENZ (keys), EISREGEN (some vocals), IMPENDING DOOM and you can feel in every tune / hymn the idea to enter unknown pathways of common Black Metal. MORTAL INTENTION furthermore understand the use of keys as a instrument supporting the main instruments and not the other way around. So "Abglanz" has become a very epic release with a lot of great songs and surprises behind every oaken door so if your Metal soul is searching for something different take a closer look. www.Black-Blood-Records.de, www.mortalintention.de
