NECROLOGY
NECROLOGY
Malignancy Defined
(GWN Europe)
40:40min

This release from Dutch Death Metal sickos NECROLOGY is obviously representing a long range of the band's development: track 1 - 5 were recorded in 2000, whereas track 6 - 11 were done in 1998. What all the tracks have in common (although the older ones are more 'old school') is the extreme approach: I didn't remember them to be that uncompromising from their gig in Emden, Germany in 2001. Those Dutch Death Metal bands really seem to hate any melodies. Bad memories from their childhood due to Vader Abraham? I don't know and I don't really care. Although, to be honest, there are some melodies on here, even an acoustic intro! Don't know whether this is legal in Holland ;-) This is definitely cool - but I would go for DISAVOWED and PYAEMIA first. Afterwards you can try to track down NECROLOGY - it took me some time as they had forgotten their merchandise at home when they were playing the Ear Terror Festival. http://listen.to/necrology
