NECROVOMIT
NECROVOMIT
Demo I 2007
(self-financed)
40:47min

What can you expect from a band who's members are calling themselves "Black Angel Of Doom", "Necromolestor", "Stabwounds Slaughter", "NecroLouder" and "Bestial Torment Of Evil"? Yezz, it's time for chaotic Black Death Metal taking influences from BLASPHEMY, SARCOFAGO, BEHERIT, IMPALED NAZARENE or PROFANATICA to name just a few. Actually this review could stop already here as fans of the above mentioned bands can check out this 7-song demotape to please their needs. For those persons it will be a feast to discover this band, for common Death and Thrash Metal lovers this is probably far too chaotic, but that's the case for BLASPHEMY and BEHERIT, too. The sound on this demotape is probably not what you would call "professionally recorded", though it's pretty good and especially good enough to hear each instrument, which can't be taken for granted in this type of Metal. This 40 minutes massacre starts with a spoken intro, probably a priest preaching something in Italian (NECROVOMIT is an Italian band by the way), I don't understand a word though as my Italian is far too bad - Vaffanculo!!! An interesting intro anyway. After these 2 minutes of atmosphere it's time for NECROVOMIT's blackish Death Metal massacre, as I said, quite chaotic and strangely enough it varies a lot from midtempo to ultrafast attacks. Although this is probably not 100% what I was expecting I can advice those who enjoy the older recordings from the abovementioned bands to give this tape a try. Check out www.myspace.com/thetruenecrovomit for soundsamples. The tape version (limited to 66 copies) goes for 5 € and the CD-R version (limited to 267 copies) goes for 4 €. Trades are also welcome if I'm not wrong here!!
