NEPHASTH
NEPHASTH
Conceived By Inhuman Blood
(Mighty Music)
43:19min

This is the type of band whose monicker I'd like to hear pronounced by some German fellow, especially those of the Klaus Meine / Doro Pesch type category... It will most certainly face them serious tongue troubles, hahaha... But anyway - it's the music that matters and NEPHASTH from Brazil fully know to convince in this department nowadays! While their debut album "Immortal Unholy Triumph" still lacked the necessary professional production to back up their brutality, "Conceived By Inhuman Blood" turned out highly impressive in every aspect now! Their progression (also when it comes to the songwriting) is so immense that their countrymates KRISIUN and ABHORRENCE (are those guys still around by the way?) should definitely watch out for NEPHASTH! Highspeed brutal Death Metal, with great, low grunted and intense vocals (no silly frognoise here!), the necessary technical abilities and a crushing overall sound make this effort a MUST HAVE for everyone into the current Brazilian Death Metal invasion! Some hints of MORBID ANGEL (especially in the rarely incorporated slower passages) shouldn't be a surprise either, as none of those mentioned bands would sound the way they do if Trey and his comrades wouldn't have changed the Death Metal world around several years ago. So, all you worshippers of Death the brutal way - make sure to invest some bucks in "Conceived By Inhuman Blood" for it has become an(other) unoriginal, yet totally great record!
