NOTRE DAME
NOTRE DAME
Coming Soon To A Theatre Near You, The 2nd
(Osmose Productions)
45:11min

Well, I don't know the original version and had only heard of the band's name before. Now this CD is being re-released by Osmose productions, remixed, mastered and completed with 6 bonus tracks (so the original must have been rather short). What you get is a highly original Metal horror musical with elements of both modern and old school Black Metal, varying singers and the 'Phantom Of The Opera' motive occasionally appearing. Actually, one song called 'Vlad The Impaler' reminds me a lot of RAMMSTEIN. The fact that it doesn't really annoy me underlines the quality of this record. This is a good CD for a party: raise your fist, bang your head and have a good pint! By the way: do you know the 'Elvira' movie? This would be a good soundtrack for it!
