OCTOBER 31
OCTOBER 31
Gone To The Devil
(Hells Headbangers Records)
07:10min

Yay, the new OCTOBER 31, finally! Sadly only a 2 track seven inch single, with only one new song coupled with the URIAH HEEP cover 'Too Scared To Run', but better something than nothing, right? The title track is the typical OCTOBER 31 anthem, right from the border of Heavy and old school Thrash Metal: low, almost growling voice (actually King Fowley sings here like in his other band DECEASED), heavy riffs, and biting guitar solos. For sure it will be a future concert classic of the band. These Americans recorded a bunch of covers in the past (LIZZY BORDEN, WARLORD, WITCHKILLER, SAXON) and every single time they did a great job, so it's not really a surprise that the URIAH HEEP song (taken from the amazing but underrated "Abominog" LP) they recorded for the B side of this single also sounds totally cool. Not sure if the single is already out when this review goes online, but if you are thinking about buying this piece of steel, then better hurry up, as it's very limited. You can choose between black vinyl and a colour / splatter version. Alright, so the teaser is here, now bring on the new album!
