After ten years in the scene this band released their first full length CD with nice Scandinavian influenced melodic Black Metal. The band are a bunch of great musicians that plays on a really high technical level what they show in the great mixture of really complex and technical parts, hooked up with great double lead melodic guitars, intercepted by nice riffs and also acoustic parts. Every part fits absolutely perfect at its place and the songs never get boring because another great idea or break comes around and overtake the listener. Besides the great music the vocals are amazing. Singer Achernar switches between Black Metal screams, clear vocals and epic recitative vocals. Some parts are more intensified through great choral singing. All in the French language, which maybe sounds unusual at the first moment, but fits perfectly to the music, because French is a very melodic and also epic language. Because of the French I can't say anything about the lyrics because I don't speak it. In the end the record has an excellent production so that nothing of the complex music gets lost and all parts are differentiated. So what should I say more: great record!! Get it. www.orakle.fr
