THE PURITAN
THE PURITAN
The Puritan
(I Hate Records)
35:24min

THE PURITAN (hailing from Finland, a land that oozes depression from every pore of its collective folk soul) is a new band of Albert Witchfinder, previously known due to his activities (bass / vocals) in REVEREND BIZARRE. Therefore you can expect nothing but a heavy wall of a guitar-sound and an immaculate Doom Metal at its best. Actually there are five tracks featured, but they got attached together into only two (for the A and B side of the LP). Their self-titled debut mini LP (no demos or anything like that) will be a good step for the future (planning's are already taken like some 7"EPs and CD). If you are already bored by Sunn O))) (and the exaggerated hype around) or want a soundtrack to your worst nightmare you should find yourself comfortable within the world of THE PURITAN. Highly recommended for fans of the genre. www.ihate.se
