Anyone remembers this band’s fabulous debut album “Tales Of Necrophilia” from ’99? Back in the days that was a stone cold stunner and though there’s been rumours about another record by this formidable Death / Grind act, this recently reissued, remastered 2002 demo has been the latest sign of life. Actually, except for a solid 'Infecting The Crypts' cover (I don’t need to tell you what band did the original) all tracks on this MCD have appeared on the NECROTIC DISGORGEMENT album “Suffocated In Shrinkwrap” which came out in ’04 and was only a bit weaker than “Tales…”. The demo versions included on “Clitoraldectomy” however, are way better in terms of sound and sheer punishing force in my opinion compared to NECROTIC DISGORGEMENT and rip a twat like a transformer gone postal. Brutal, technically well executed Death / Grind with references to the original gods like CANNIBAL CORPSE, SUFFOCATION, MORTAL DECAY is what you get here combined with a high speed intensity that leaves you beaten, battered and broken. Add some kick ass fretboard wizardry, ferocious drumming and chugging midpaced sections and you’re in for some fun! Definitely not an essential release but a must for fans of Brian Baxter and his butchers. www.comatosemusic.com
