RIMTHURS
RIMTHURS
Ur:Kaos
(Temple Of Darkness Records)
20:33min

RIMTHURS is a one man band from Sweden playing Black Metal. Simple as it is! I don't know what I should think of the idea of a one man band but this shouldn't be my problem. This 5 track release offers Black Metal, mostly fast played with great melodies and impressive basslines. Honestly I hardly heard such a great sounding bass on any other Black Metal releases. Still this release don't really convinces me completely at all. The songs are pretty good, but I would prefer to hear a full-length release to make my final decision about the quality of this band. For die-hard Black Metal fans this should be a release worth to support as it offers tight played and fast Black Metal in a great soundquality with interesting ideas. "Ur:Kaos" is all in all a quite good release of a talented musician, so check it out if you are a Black Metal maniac and all the others let's wait and see how this band will progress, a huge potential is recognizable!! Make the choice for yourself and check out www.templeofdarknessrecords.com if you're interested for further details or go to www.rimthurs.se!
