RUDRA
RUDRA
Kurukshetra
(Trishul Music Productions)
41:58min

From the exotic place of Singapore emerge RUDRA, who perform a solid mixture of melodic Death and Thrash Metal. Skilled musicianship, original song structures and melodies that do not sound like copied Scandinavian shit are the trademarks of the four-piece. Especially the solos have a very individual and unique sound. The vocals are typical aggressive not too high screams interrupted by some spoken passages and have this funny pronunciation one either loves or hates about Asian bands. In terms of production "Kurukshetra" is absolutely first class, which is not a natural thing for acts from that part of the world, but RUDRA belong to the lucky ones who have powerful, transparent and yet not too polished sound. It's a really good CD, so send an email to the Singapore department of Trishul Music and find out more about availability and price of "Kurukshetra": drdeax@yahoo.com. The band's website can be found here http://rudra.audioreload.com/, band email is rudra@singnet.com.sg. Be sure to check it out, ok?
