Acts Of Insanity
(Listenable Records)
36:28min

I didn't seem to get access to his side project of OVERKILLers Dave Linsk (g) and Tim Mallore (d) until - today! That's mainly because of the vocals delivered by Linsk's former ANGER ON ANGER singer Mario. Pretty aggressive and - yes - skilled vocalist. But for quite some time I simply hated his voice. Additionally, I'm not a big fan of those hardcore style backing shouts, either. Apart from that we get some excellent Thrash with deep roots in the 80s but also picking up elements such as sound, speed, groove and technicality of today. Finally, the band doesn't avoid certain parallels to OVERKILL as long as it serves the song. They're working on a tour in spring 2005 and that's what their music was made for. Don't play "Acts Of Insanity" in your car as long as you wanna avoid trouble with the police! Check out soundfiles at www.speedkillhate.com or www.listenable.net
