SARCOMA INC.
Torment Rides Forever
(Epidemic Music Norway)

Some bands just give you the feeling that it actually is possible to turn back time. SARCOMA INC. really sound like in the good old times when bands still had an individual sound, when there where vocalists you could recognize straight away. I speak of the olden days when KREATOR, EXODUS, SLAYER, HEATHEN and the likes reigned the scene. This output actually sounds like these acts. Of course, there are certain elements like the fast drums, mega-distorted guitars etc. that couldn't be put into scene back then or simply were not that fashionable as it is the case nowadays. 'Dreams Of Vengeance' (third track on this CD) really has this Mille (KREATOR) vibe, very old-school indeed --- love it! There are loads of mid-tempo and brutal passages on the release, some blasting passages as well spicing the whole thing up. The solos are old-school as well, loads of whammy and stuff... you know what I mean. The guitars are, as mentioned above, mega-distorted and aggressive. The drums sound so natural and raw... it's a pleasure!!! The vocalist (former LIMBONIC ART / ZYKLON frontman Daemon - Frank) seems to appreciate the aforementioned Thrash heroes... I deem the bass guitar aggressive and raw, too. This sounds all very harmonious (???) and well-levelled, doesn't it???!!! The production is filthy and brutal, raw and primitive... and so does the overall impression I deduce from this nightmarish listening-session. These Norwegian guys must be total lunatics, listening to Metal all day long, drinking beer, hanging around, watching porn. Daily life experiences of true Metal-Heads I guess... this dementia is appropriately conveyed by this band's music!!! Contact: Sarcomainc@yahoo.no or epidemic_music@yahoo.no
