SENESCENE
SENESCENE
The Artificial Enemy
(self-financed)
36:40min

Doomdeath from East Frisia, Germany! These psychos will take you on a trip to strange spheres. Growls as well as clean vocals are trademarks of this outfit you can compare with old MY DYING BRIDE or ANATHEMA. The good thing is: they have already developed an identity of their own and the more I listen to "The Artificial Enemy", the more I like it. (probably also because the weather is getting worse, autumn is coming). Today I don't even hate the drum computer that much any more, still I think SENESCENCE should look for a kick ass drummer as drum computers are boring, especially live! This CD is cold, depressive and evil and the multimedia section is quite big (the video clip sucks, though, cos you can hardly see anything). Check out their their forthcoming split CD with the progressive death hopefuls OF TREES AND ORCHIDS! www.senescence.de
