Wow, what a kick ass EP is this! As far as I know, this is a one man project by Michael Zetterberg from AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR and he unleashes a 6 minute powerdisplay with the impact of a tornado in the F5 category. In a mix of Black Metal (riffs), Grindcore (drums) and Hardcore / Punk (vocals) and divided over three short but long enough tracks. However the vocals (as mentioned) referred to another genre. The best references, even though they are shamefully limited, are of Heval Bozarslan (SARCASM) on their track ’A Touch Of Burning Red Sunset’ of the same entitled demo and compilation. Or of Daemon on the excellent ”World Ov Worms” by ZYKLON in his way of screaming. The aggression feels very natural like on the BASTARD PRIEST debut. As far as Grindcore, the drums are speedy but not hyperblasting. More like the speed of REPULSION on ”Horrified”. Again a very poor and limited comparison. Best thing for you is to check this out yourself. I don’t know how strong the impact will last on a full length because all three tracks follow the same structure, but on this EP it’s a winning formula. Because of the production I would suggest fans of speedkillers ranging from RIGHTEOUS PIGS to ZYKLON-B or from REPULSION to OBEISANCE should check this out. Check https://sigurimi.bandcamp.com for the full EP, but support this and everybody can miss 2 euros for such a great cause, right
