SIX FEET UNDER
True Carnage
(Metal Blade Records)
34:19min

I really don't know how to start because SFU are not my favourite Death Metal band at all, probably because they still refuse to go real fast from time to time. I'm far from being a high speed junky but having groovy songs all the time can become a bit boring. Apart from that, SFU have always offered high quality and "True Carnage" doesn't break with this tradition. Instead, two SFU fans add some colour to this output: Ice-T and Karen Crisis (great!) contributed some guest vocals and after some time you'll even accept the Ice-T song (actually, 'One Bullet Left' is one of the most intense songs on here)! A good reason why one should go for this CD might have been the PC video clip 'The Day The Dead Walked': a hilarious splatter-zombie-short movie! Dead cool! But you can download it from the Metal Blade homepage which shows that both the band and the record company are sure that the music on "True Carnage" doesn't need another selling point! If you didn't like SFU before I doubt you will like the new CD, but you should definitely go for the video and maybe afterwards you might decide that you like SFU from now on?
