SLARTIBARTFASS
SLARTIBARTFASS
Nebelheim
(Trollzorn)
47:26min

SLARTIBARTFASS' debut from 2007 is a further release from the German Pagan Metal specialist Trollzorn. "Nebelheim" is a tribute to the misty German Donau delta, the home of the band and quite a nice start for this really young band. Think that 15 years ago the album has definitely been released as a demo tape but time goes by and if you have a label which sees potential in your music - take your chance. All lyrics are in German and the core of their music is Death Metal added / spiced with traditional instruments (Bagpipe, Pipes) and the well establish German Pagan Metal band RIGER seem to be a big inspiration for this band. Due to the fact that we are talking about a young band and their debut release, there is obvious room for improvement on the lyrical and musical side (some elements do not work together, and some refrains need serious improvement) but you can feel the will of this band. If SLARTIBARTFASS can work on their weak spots and create more songs like 'Asatru' I'm really looking forward for their second release. www.Trollzorn.de, www.slartibartfass-musik.de
