When I thought there was nothing more stagnant than "Masquerade In Blood" there you go... SODOM releases this crappy album. I've been a huge SODOM fan for the last 15 years and I've witnessed the ups'n downs of this mighty band but never thought the time of firing such harsh criticism would ever come... but sadly it did. On "M-16" there was fillers and that is always acceptable from a band with the SODOM longevity and back catalog of hard-to-top musical gems. But right before the few initial songs of the new album I cannot do other things than put my hand in my forehead trying to wonder the idea behind this album. It seems like almost the whole album is in the 'Remember The Fallen' vibe which is not bad but obviously gets tiring after few songs. 'Bibles And Guns', 'Lords Of Depravity' and 'Axis Of Blood' can be considered as decent songs but the rest just seem to be leftovers of the last few albums which only contribute to soil the cult status of this band. Nostalgia might be the only reason why you might want to get this album but the term "quality" are nowhere to be found during your listening. It is sad to see Mr. Angelripper slamming fellow cult bands like VENOM or CELTIC FROST because of getting better slots in the European live circuit... he should step back and think that behind that "unfair" happenings there might be a reason and it is that his band might have started to sink!
