SPAWN OF POSSESSION
SPAWN OF POSSESSION
Noctambulant
(Neurotic Records)
41:30min

"1.400 promos send to all media" (printed as "sales point" on the info sheet of the promo-CD) - fuck, is that normal today? I have no clue how many promos a label has to send to all kind of magazines but I wonder where Neurotic Records sent these promos to, because I haven't read one single review of this record so far. Hm, well, perhaps I'm reading the wrong magazines... Let's talk about the music and this is indeed the far more interesting topic here. This is the 2nd CD of SPAWN OF POSSESSION and, friends, this one kicks ass. The first band which came into my mind while listening to them was Germany's NECROPHAGIST and I wonder which one of them is more technical? The musicians of SPAWN OF POSSESSION are totally skilled and the positive thing is, that besides this technical ability they also write great songs which are fun to listen to. Many of these technical Death Metal outfits just play technical and the listener asks himself where the songs are, but that's not the case here! All Death Metal Maniacs into technical Death grinding Metal should risk an ear on this CD, you won't regret it!!! www.spawnofpossession.com
