TEMPLE OF NIHIL
TEMPLE OF NIHIL
Soul Extremist
(Symbol Of Domination Productions / Satanath Records)
25:08min

There is some strange and weird aspects regarding “Soul Extremist”, the first output by TEMPLE OF NIHIL from Russia. Superficially listening to the four songs my first thinking was a mixture of early IMMORTAL (especially the vocals) and some slower paced Death Metal riffs. But after having a closer look respectively an in-depth study I have noticed the above mentioned strange and weird aspects. Those seductive, tempting and tantalizing melodies. Jon Nödtveidt (R.I.P.) of DISSECTION would have been proud of these melodies. So, since the term “melodic Death Metal” has become more a warning label instead of an indication of quality, it is a very good feeling to know that a band like TEMPEL OF NIHIL carrying the flame DISSECTION once enlightened with “Storm Of The Light's Bane”. Eagerly awaiting a full-length! More info at: www.facebook.com/templeofnihil, www.satanath.com/sodp
