THORNAFIRE
THORNAFIRE
Vorex Deconstruccion
(Ibex Moon Records)
34:30min

Sung in Spanish, the new THORNAFIRE record will make sense only to Spanish speakers. But, since fluency with another language has never been a requirement for Metal, listeners who don't understand Spanish won't be left out. The new record is abrupt and straightforward, almost like mechanized chaos; elegance to technical wizardy, all in the blink of an eye. It makes for a very interesting experience. One might find oneself drawing connections to EMPEROR and modern tech-deat, but truthfully, THORNAFIRE, to put them into context, are more closely related to KRISIUN-although that could be the Spanish talking. In any case, this is worth your time if you're of the taste. www.myspace.com/thornafire, www.ibexmoonrecords.com
